Abstract

In recent years, the rapid expansion of urban infrastructure has significantly increased the use of underground cables for power distribution due to their safety, reliability, and aesthetic advantages. However, one of the major challenges associated with 
these systems is the difficulty in detecting and locating faults, as they are not visible and require extensive manual inspection. This often leads to increased maintenance time, higher costs, and delays in restoring power.
