The reaction of a series of nitrogen donor ligands with metal complexes yielded a series of new complexes, which were characterized spectroscopically and by coordination chemistry.Abstract
Metal complexes of N-donor ligands are important class of coordination compounds as the structural, electronic and spectroscopic properties are strongly influenced by the metal–ligand interactions. The present study is concerned with the synthesis and spectroscopic study of the metal complexes of a nitrogen donor Schiff base ligand with an emphasis on the correlation between the structure of the ligand, the metal coordination behaviour and spectroscopic properties
