According to a growing body of research, death fear may be trans diagnostic and play a significant part in the emergence and manifestation of psychopathology. This meta-analysis looked at the connection between symptoms of mental illness and death anxiety. There were 104 articles in all, representing experimental data from 11 research and cross-sectional data from 99 investigations. There was a moderate association (r = 0.397) between death anxiety and general symptoms
