Abstract

—Floods involve huge loss to life and property, and so require real-time observation and advance warning systems. This 
paper puts forward a Smart Flood Monitoring System based on IoT-based sensors, real-time data acquisition, and cloud-based 
analysis for detecting and predicting flood status.
